This past week our baseball team played our first fall game against Broward College and won 8-5. The MLb Playoffs are going great for my Los Angeles Dodgers. They swept the cardinals and currently are tied 1-1 in the NLCS. They play game 3 in philadelphia on Sunday. My NFL team, the Denver Broncos, are undefeated and look to continue their perfect season against the San Diego Chargers on monday night football.

This week was the first week full practice and it is defintely a grind. The MLB post season was officially kicked off on Wednesday. My team, the Dodgers are taking on the Cardinals in the Division Series. They won 5-3 on wednesday and last night they clutched up in a come from behind win in the bottom of the ninth inning with 2 outs, winning 3-2 and lead the series 2-0 heading into game three on saturday in St. Louis to hopefully get te sweep.

This week we started our official team practice. It is long and tedious but I feel that myself and the rest of the team are getting better day by day. The practices are tough and tedious but in the end it will all be worth the hard work. The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched home field advantage this week in the postseason and also won the NL WEST. They will host the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round.

Continuing on with conditioning, weightlifting, and practice, I was able to attend the 2009 National Championships baseball team's luncheon and ring ceremony. It was very exciting and I feel so proud to be a part of this program. I can't wait for Thanksgiving so I can take a trip back to LA for a week or so. The Dodgers look like their going to clinch the NL West in the next few days. I sure hope so.
